STATE OF THE 'SHEAUX

Hello Bobsheaux Family! We hope you successfully made it through 2024 and that you are pumped and ready to rock 2025! We just wanted to give you a bit of an update on what we're doing here at Bobsheaux headquarters...a.k.a. Rob and Raven's respective bedrooms. No, not THAT kind of bedroom update! Shame on you!

(Raven here) First of all, I'd like to apologize for falling off the face of the planet for a few weeks. My mental health has been not great. I suffer from holiday depression and anxiety and this season was no exception. I tend to shut down and hibernate when that stress gets to me. It was especially bad this year because I also suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder, a.k.a. S.A.D and this has been a dreary, miserable winter so far. In the early fall, my A/C-heater blower went out and my landlord isn't able to afford to fix the entire system, so they gave me a portable indoor A/C unit and several portable heaters. While it's mostly getting the job done, it does mean I have to spend a lot of time with my windows open and the sound and feel of the rain in the air makes my S.A.D. so much worse. Basically, I've been REALLY SAD and unable to fulfill my plans of managing the Bobsheaux social medias like I wanted to. I'm working on it, and I thank you all for your patience.

Now, what's coming to Bobsheaux over the next month or so? Well, we are playing catch-up from last year. Patrons will be getting their Bobsheauxween review first, then we will be working on the commentaries (both public and Patron-exclusive) on previous reviews for November. There is an additional surprise November review that will be put out (publicly). Then the December commentaries for both YouTube and Patreon. We are planning on having a January vote, where the resulting review will be released publicly, as well as a Patron-exclusive review. We are planning a STORYTIME LIVESTREAM for mid-January. That takes us into February, where all we have planned so far is the 13th anniversary “Which Is Better?” video as well as a Patron-exclusive “Which Is Better?” that will compare 20 Patron-exclusive reviews, for the ten years that Bobsheaux has been on Patreon.

So...January and possibly part of February will mostly be about catching up on things and planning for a more consistent schedule by mid-year. We're looking forward to several exciting endeavors in this new year and we're so glad y'all are along for the ride. There will be more Getting to Know Bobsheaux videos, more storytime livestreams, and lots more fun. So stay tuned, stay engaged and, as always, thank you for your support and friendship!
