Resident Evil Requiem Story Analysis is available now

Really great video! I was actually reminded not only of past RE Lore, but also Mega Man Lore (specifically Elpis is a character in MegaMan Zero 2 in a story with similar Pandora’s Box symbolism. Also, I love that Grace is not some special Chosen One, she’s just a person. It’s a really nice contrast to Rose or even Alice from the RE movies and I frankly prefer the idea that she’s special because we’re all special 😊

Amazing watch Suzi, I totally missed that the commander's hand also had signs of infection. Now I'm convinced that's Hunk.

I was also thinking about Rev 2's ending as well this this. You're not the only one who wanted to see where that plot point was going.

I just started watching and god I can’t agree more Grace is such an amazing character! Edit to add: I was playing the game with a friend watching on discord and as soon as Zeno was shown I was like no fucking way fuck you no way they’re doing this oh my god that cannot be HIM can it? It was hilarious.

While I don't think Requiem is the best game in the series, I think it has the best Resident Evil story hands down. I've always been big on the Resident Evil series story as a lore nerd, but Requiem's story is so well done, I'll be championing it for best narrative at Keighley's The Game Awards. Your video is all anyone would need to watch in defense of that position. Also, huge credit to you for the Zeno-mold explanation. As a huge Wesker fanboy, I felt there was just something about his character I wasn't understanding, but you finally helped me put all of the pieces together. Thank you!
