Great review! The game's creative director mentioned Capcom's PN03 as an influence and I can definitely see it. The rhythm based combat, the arcade-y gameplay with an emphasis on replayability and the stylish, unlockable "bodysuits." I played the heck out of that game back in the day (despite its lukewarm reception) and I'm glad I'm not the only one who enjoyed it. Also, the protagonist looks suspiciously similar to Jill Valentine which is why I bought it (I had a crush on REmake Jill OK?)!
the existential pain of having to wait for a PC port 😢 BUTT I can wait despite my interest in playing this game & go through the ever looming backlog. Maybe some other hack n slash games I've been sleeping on. I do enjoy your reviews of new releases & am absolutely here for more british accents btw.
