Rediscovering my Passion Ep. 2: The Greatest Tragedy in Relating
Hey Guys!
The second episode is a chance for me to unload my brain, and ramble like I used to when I first started making talking head videos, about something I had on my mind. Something I kept coming back to was how annoying it is that you can't share just HOW impactful a specific stimulus can be to you because of how personal that experience is. It's beautiful, but also tragic. For some, it might be a favorite movie that changed your life forever, or a song that gives you chills, or a taste that reminds you of summer in your childhood. We all perceive things based on our unique "loadout" and the facts of our lives, so no one experience will ever be the same as any one else's. From my generation or earlier, maybe the smell of Banana Boat sunscreen will remind you of beach days with family, but the emotional tie to that, the intensity, the memories, and the feeling when you smell it again... those will never be the same across two people.

Does this topic remind you guys of anything in your lives? Is there something you're passionate about that you have a hard time sharing with others as precisely as you'd like? For me, it's always music!

Yeah, we both neurospicy
Yess! It's called stimming. It is so helpful for our nervous system to look for those chill moments that you feel a reset in your entire body. My favorite music genres for it are trip-hop and prog metal
Wow, prog is my favorite too! Cool breadth of interest! <3
Love your outfit 😍😍😍
As far as music goes, I too find a certain sound to just "hit me" the right way, but often lack the "words" to convey this feeling to others. I too find it frustrating. It's like speaking a language that no one around you understands.
YES! Exactly!
