Why I (Usually) Don’t Add Drivers To My RC Builds
While I'm generally not a huge fan of adding driver figures to my models, despite them being fully functioning RC vehicles, it is something I'd like to experiment with more in the future. There's certainly no shortage of posable action figures available in larger sizes, such as those that would fit well in a 1/10 scale vehicle. However for smaller scale models, such as the 1/24 and 1/25 scale vehicles I'll often showcase here on the channel, there doesn't seem to be as many options out there. Looking for a good 3D printable solution, I decided to try out the MakeHuman add-on for Blender. This enables the easy and instant generation of human characters, which can easily be customized. Unfortunately though, the characters that it generates are not optimized for 3D printing. Some work is therefore required to get them ready for 3D printing, but it still appears to be a great head start regardless. 👍
