Does it Even Matter? 1/24 vs 1/25: Which Scale is Best? 🤔
Automotive and truck model enthusiasts will be familiar with the availability of both kits in 1/24, and 1/25 scale. A slight but at times noticeable difference in size. This was the subject of a recent comment here on the channel. I thought it was a good question, and worth investigating. In today's video, I'll share my thoughts on the subject. For me personally I don't mind the slight discrepancy in size, and will happily build vehicles in both 1/24 and 1/25 scale. However, for those interested in creating a collection with all vehicles being the exact same scale, what kinds of vehicles you choose as the subject may impact your decision. For the plastic model to RC enthusiast, it is also important to consider the often substantial difference between the advertised scale on many RC products, and the usually more mathematical and accurate scale listed on a plastic model kit. Not all 1/24 scale model kits will fit RC chassis’, even if they are advertised as being that same scale.
