1980 Jeep J10 Update and Trail Run 🌳
Tiny tires = more fun, or more problems? My custom 1/24 scale RC Jeep J10 is back on the bench once again. I've been having a lot of fun driving this rig around out on the trails, and I've received a lot of messages from people expressing interest in this Jeep, and the custom 3D printed chassis I’m using for it. Today I'm highlighting some of the unique design elements and features of this unique RC platform, as well as showing some of its weaknesses, and areas I'd like to improve with future iterations. For custom builders not quite as crazy as I am, or those who don't own 3D printers, I also wanted to showcase a few similar RC crawler and 4x4 alternatives. I've been having a lot of fun with this rig, and I look forward to sharing the 3D print files in a future update. In the meantime, be sure to check out some of the videos below for more details, and subscribe to be updated when future videos are posted to this channel. 👍

Man, when are you gonna release the files for the j10??
Not sure exactly when it will be ready. I've been kind of working on it off and on more recently between updating/improving some of the other chassis designs that are already posted. There's not much left to do at this point, though making the tutorial video has proved to be quite the endeavor, but it's getting there. Also I'm assuming you're referring to the 3D printable chassis design, not the J10 body as if that's what your interested in, that body comes from a Revell model kit, not 3D printable CAD files. Just want to make sure that's clear.
Cant wait for this to come out, want to try fit/modify it onto a land rover series 3 (https://railsofsheffield.com/products/revell-07056-land-rover-series-iii-lwb-commercial-kit-1-24-scale?variant=42170598916287)
Absolutely LOVE your stuff! Where can we get the STL files for the "yokes" for the driveshaft to axle/pinion, and the motor to driveshaft?
Thank you! Those STL files haven't been posted yet as they'll be included in the 4x4 chassis, but if you don't mind sending a private message with your email, I can send those parts to you. They're tiny and not the easiest to FDM print, but have worked well on the J10. All you need is either a M1 screw or 1mm dowl pin to make the connection.
