New Motor Mount Design for the CTC 01
The time has finally arrived to showcase a new motor mount design for the CTC 01, 1/24 scale RC truck chassis! Of course what I thought would be a very simple process turned into a little more of a time consuming task, due to some unexpected part failures. Regardless of those minor setbacks, the larger motors I've got in the GMC General currently are working great! As a result, I think this truck is a lot more fun to drive, even if still not exactly capable of moving mountains. I hope all you CTC 01 builders out there find this video helpful, and please stay tuned for more updates, and future RC projects.

just installed my N50 upgrade, I had to make the 5th wheel mount a little taller to clear the N50 motor and wires.
Good to know and thanks for your feedback. 👍 Did you use the "Fifth Wheel Mount Lifted for N50 Motor" file included in the "Parts Rear" folder? If so we might consider including a mount with even more space underneath, since we know it can get a bit tight with those motor wires. We hope your truck is performing well with the new motors. 👌
