Joe and Nate explore the history of Fragging in the US military and the case of Alberto Martinez, a soldier who almost certainly killed two officers during the Iraq War and got away with it.

My (australian) dads training platoon in Vietnam always joked about fragging their in training officer. 30 years later he became a horrible thatcher style state premier. Cheers da.
You know it's bad when I can't manage to root for the guy who exploded two officers without harming any innocent people.
"people who have like 18 months old kids": So yeah Nate, in some sense it gets worse. Like an 18month old already gets into stupid shit its incedible. Truly tells you our species is related to lemmings. I still have challenge mode parenting. Personally, I take the 18month challenge any day every day over 4month old. Because the 18month old also picks up a random stone, shows it to you like its the most interesting thing in the world. Then you look at it, and... Dude it is. Stones are incredible when you take the time to actually look at them.
Fragging makes me think of Frag Tag from Turok 2, good times.
I mean, it'd probably be easy enough to frag your LT by proxy on patrol in Vietnam. "Yeah we got the sniper just poke your head over the berm and see for yourself."
I FUCKING KNEW COLIN POWELL WAS A NARC
Nate made the right choice for the question at the end. I forget which Assassin’s Creed game it is where you fight Cesare Borgia, but I do remember it being one of the hardest bosses in the series up to that point
Our supply guy could have kept stealing, but he started getting CIF items the unit wasn't authorized and forging letters to get troops out of the barracks.
I worked with a guy the smuggled weed and heroine while he served in RNZAF in Veitnam
Is it bad to admit that I, as a US civilian with no military/police/industry background, have had the opportunity to (legally) assemble and "utilize" a claymore mine?
I didn't know your brother passed. I'm really sorry to hear it. ♥️
I don’t remember this incident at all.
Here for the Calpol chat
I was looking forward to this episode. One thing about Akbar: I remember the case and from what I recall racism and Islamophobia he experienced exacerbated underlying issues with mental illness he had. Not saying this was excusable but I’m sure that may have pushed him over a precipice he was already close to.
brother figured out who his real enemy was, nothing but respect
Speaking of fragging, Pat Tillman ep when
He wasn't fragged, he was killed on accident due to friendly fire. Also, i was already on an episode of behind the bastards when we talked about that
spitting on rotc dorks is hilarious shout out to that college student
Florida and total shit bags escaping justice, name a more iconic combination
I'm glad you had Nate there to talk about a fragging. It's good to keep officers on their toes.
I feel like old crappy elevators could be an episode of well there is your problem or this show if you somehow mount a machine gun to it and make it the dumbest technical ever
That’s some ‘Tank Wars’ on the n64 type stuff
The finest military tradition
Now this is a topic! Excited to listen!
