EARLY EPISODE: The Red Army Faction Part 4: The Body as a Weapon
In the final episode of the series, we learn about the run-up to, and aftermath of, the Deutscher Herbst, or "German Autumn" of 1977. In two months in late 1977, the leadership of the first generation of the Red Army Faction would murder a high-profile German industrialist (and former SS officer), hijack a plane, and commit group suicide. And let's just say it made an impression in West Germany.

Horst Mahler is so fucked up. In 2010 he gave an Interview to a journalist (Michelle Friedmann), who was also one of the best known jewish public figures in germany and his first sentence was: "Heil Hitler, Mr. Friedmann" - which is illegal in Germany. By the way: He lost a leg in his hungarian Exile and was forcefully extradited to germany.
Joe please can you do a series as Jordan Peterson?
That's more Robert Evans' territory. I don't believe that 'Ol Muppet Mouth served.
jesus lol i was waiting for part 4 and must have scrolled past this ep half a dozen times cuz the thumbnail looks exactly like its a TrueAnon episode image
Holy hell Bader pulled a "Are women bourgeoisie?" Half a century before Disco Elysium made that a joke.
Oh you got to do an episode on the SLA (The United Federated Forces of the Symbionese Liberation Army) I think they would be a good one, largest shootout in LA
To add to Spandau Prison. After Hess dies, they demolished it. The German law main idea is the rehabilitation and make the prisoner part of the society again. The RAF (and the Munich massacre) was a problem for the government from the point, that they felt the need to arm the police and building a prison like Stammheim, which didn't happen till then, because of the experience from the Nazi's. The Munich massacre lead to the founding of the GSG 9. And also, outside of Germany people think, that murder is a max of 15 years. Which is wrong, there is always the option to add "mit anschließender Sicherheitsverwahrung", which means minimum of 20 years till being locked away forever. The story of the RAF didn't end there, just the Baader Meinhof part. The last murder was Alfred Herrhausen in 1989, they also claimed to have killed Rohwedder 1991. The last death were in 1993, when shooting between RAF members Grams and Hogefeld and the GSG 9 happened, were Grams and the GSG 9 member Newrzella died.
Joe, you’re wrong about Hess. He was the lone prisoner in Spandau Prison. It had been shut down except for this brutal Nazi fuck. I say good riddance, and now that he’s dead I say Rest In Piss. Loving the series. Tom is doing a great job in the pilot’s chair. If you’re not careful he might steal your “thorny crown.” LOL.
“Communist Jordan Peterson” is just Caleb Maupin/Jackson Hinkle/any other male tradinista.
I need a "Joe's Jordan Peterson voice" compilation so bad after this episode!
Can we get “bourgeois cunt” merch?
Pleeeeease! I would love that!
Joe's Jordan Peterson voice reminds me more of Kermit the Frog tbh, a very good Kermit the Frog voice to be fair
Jordan Peterson's Jordan Peterson voice reminds me of Kermit the Frog so aiming for one will get you the other for free
Alright, what is goin on here with the triple drop?
I’m not asking questions, I’m just enjoying. Surgery recovery and opiates are good for that.
