BONUS EPISODE: A Knights Tale
Last month's episode of The Sharpe Show pissed us all off enough we decided to take a break from Sharpe and watch the very historically accurate film, A Knights Tale.

A medieval war movie with edm would be rad. Studio quality editing of knights fighting each other with the hotline Miami soundtrack? Fuck yeah
I know I know, it's old... But there was a reality tv show called Full Metal Jousting. Needed more linguine.
Movie Suggestion: Buffalo Soldiers. Its a black comedy with Joaquin Phoenix about a soldier stationed in 1989 West Germany running a black market drug ring out of the barracks. Has a scene where they drive an Abrams over a VW Bug while high. The studio bought the distribution rights to it on September 10th 2001 and then had to sit on it for years before finally releasing it with basically no marketing because they were so worried about getting Dixie Chicked for disrespecting the troops.
What a fantastic suggestion.
I am living for this intro. I was definitely a teen girl in the early oughts who loved 10 Things I Hate about you. it was a great age of Shakespeare in High School movies.
On god I'm deadass death the destroyer of worlds fr fr no cap -Oppenheimer
On one hand, talking about the joy of fun movies, then sitting on Marvel movies. Hypocrite, much?
Mid 2000s nostalgia was Shrek for me lol. Hilarious as always Joe and your not wrong about the amount of raw drugs truckers used to use and some still do.my grandpa drove for 60 plus years.
They wouldn't fight Black Knight because it would be a complete shitshow
Don't slander The Postman like that
Love that Al Sweringen from deadwood got brought up. I just finished that show for the first time last night. I was upset it ended but at least the movie finished the story (and made me sad)
I think I watched this at every sleepover from 2001-2006. Heath Ledger and horses. It’s teen girl kryptonite.
I wanted every dress Jocelyn wore despite all of them being not at all period accurate.
I gotta know if Nike signed a deal for the armor
Is it bad if I want a "Carraba's Italian Funeral Detail" shirt?
Wrestling: if any of y’all brave the horrors of Texas, specifically Austin, message me and we can see about a Fight Opera / Lions crossover
Maybe Napoleon the 12th vs a Russian Winter
Movie pitch: Dog Soldiers
Oh hell yes please.
Ngl I wanna go back and rewatch this now. I haven't seen it in forever
Tour of Duty https://g.co/kgs/KVYUdF Talk about this show. Kinda.
I am imagining spreading pro wrestling to Europe and the Caucasus and I am shuddering at the utterly cursed ethnic stereotype characters coming out of the Balkans.
OMG this was the default sleepover movie when I was in high school. What it lacks in historical accuracy, it makes up for in early 2000s nostalgia.
