You guys mentioned the death of Klaus Barbie as an aside, it sounded fascinating so I googled it, but I think you were both thinking of Adolf Eichmann?
Mazal Tov! May all your ups and downs be in the bedroom!
Please don't do an Oskar Dirlwanger. I'm not sure Liam can handle it.
Behind the Bastards already did a week or two ago.
I ran into an old Polish guy at a bar who said he had been to prison twice, once with the nazis once with the soviets. Good guy
Witold took a wockkkkkk to Poland.
The staggering confidence it must take for a man like Himmler to think he had superior genes while looking like the most stereotypical chinless incel with a ratty mustache
Trivia tip: Himmler is the reason why Kurtwood Smith wore those glasses in the original Robocop. Verhoeven grew up seeing people with glasses like that as genocidal monsters and took it for a movie.
Man this one was a fuckin bummer near the end. Good show Joe thanks for the learnins’
Big same! Thanks Joe and Liam.
Coincidentally, Behind the bastards covered Dirlwanger last week... All is well, Evans is getting his hands dirty so you don't have to.
Wait, Joe. You're telling me that 2001's made for TV's Uprising starring David Schwimmer and Hank Azaria was not at all the definitive telling of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising?
What group do y’all think Joe is talking about when he mentions the resistance group that’s popular with young people on the internet?
My guess'd be late-period IRA groups like RIRA/NIRA, but I could be totally off on that.
Snus gang
I got in trouble in middle school for dyeing my hair lmao. I hadn't even done a bright color, the last 6 inches were a sort of auburn red. The vice principal looked like if the guy from the talking heads was a cop also so it was hard to take him seriously
Depressing as always. Behind the Bastards just did a series on Dirlewangerfuckface, ya'll coordinate these?
Joe get some espresso in you, the coffee cups are tiny but they are powerful. Also a big YAY LIAM to Liam for his recent engagement. As a recently married, unless there's family expectations you need to make the wedding as small as possible to be enjoyable.
Just attended a friends 16 guest wedding. It was incredible. Can confirm, less people = more better.
