I'm coming back to this episode in the year of our lord 2026 and November now has FIVE podcasts, so many that she was too exhausted to be in the WTYP episode on this very topic.
This is like a gay version of the Dreyfus affair, except the guys aren't even gay.
Carriers are forbidden from entering the blacksea, so the USSR built the 'totally not carriers'
When a 16" inch fires you don't feel it in your chest, you feel it in your grandparents.
Great episode. This was one of the incidents that lead to the first fleet-wide "safety stand-down" after a slew of really banging accidents that included this, an F-18 accidentally hitting an Indian Fishing vessel with an anti-ship missile, another plane dropping a bomb on a US cruiser, a picnic area getting bombed in California, and others I can't remember.

Check out this channel on YouTube. Battleship New Jersey https://youtube.com/c/BattleshipNewJersey I think the he would have made a perfect guest for this episode.

The barrier to starting a podcast is so low I once had one going(only lasted a couple episodes). Like do you have a friend who can edit and some friends who can make bits at each other for an hour? If so, you too can yell into the void for an hour a week.
Yay Alice! I'm always amazed at the various subjects Alice knows quite a bit about.
It feels like we're ramping up to an Avengers level event in the Betheaverse
