Maybe it would be okay if the island died? Not sure why the UK is subsidizing a little old incest-rape island instead of just... leaving it. Maybe bringing everyone somewhere else; it's not like they're native people. Though, honestly, I'm shocked that they didn't just die off somehow a long time ago.
It's a bit obscure but apparently Bligh was better regarded in the Sydney colony. And had a support base of settlers with small farms. It was the military officers he didn't get along with.
Lol I actually am from Devon. I鈥檝e never been to Tahiti, but I鈥檝e been to Hawaii and can say it is unquestionably better.
If I'm not mistaken, that place in Canada was probably Gander International. It's a weird little airport that just pops up onto you, all two whole gates of it. It's fucking weird.
It would have been cool if Bligh's boat arrived at Tonga right before the volcano exploded.
Where did you learn to correctly pronounce Bangor, ME ???
What's the name of the intro song?
Oh no Oh sweet fucking christ no not the bounty mutiny.
Somehow I'm not surprised; this is the same era of the Royal Navy that gave us the freebooting captain of the HMS Phaeton Leeroy Jenkins-ing into Nagasaki Harbor and bringing the Napoleonic Wars to Japan because he thought there were French people there.
I really enjoyed the episode you were on.
"I'm a bad podcaster." Proceeds to put out more content more frequently than every other pod I listen to
Well that explains why so many of the Pitcairn islanders chose to leave.
I do love shock鈥檚 uproarious laugh
