I work at a print shop and recently I a customer gave me a copy of the things the come into print. It is unhinged antisemitic ramblings that they have sent emails to local police forces demanding they raid Jewish cultural/community centers. The opening bits were funny originally and now it feels like I am living it.

Jerusalem is based on a poem by William Blake, and kinda slaps as a national anthem, especially when the alternative is God Save The King. William Blake was an esoteric christian, not a british isrealist. Nothing I’ve read of his is remotely literal, and Jerusalem is about fighting the evils of industrialisation. Amongst other beliefs, he was profoundly anti-modern.
