A Moluccan terror group took over a train in the Netherlands, leading to the longest train hijacking in history. It only ends when Dutch Commandos launch one of the worst rescue operations in European history.

It's a small thing but it always makes my week when Nate makes a random reference to someplace in Alaska or some aspect of being there.
This week's TrashFuture discussion about Guantanamo Bay being repurposed to "house"/"vet" immigrants was an unexpected, but unsurprising rhyme to the repurposed Dutch concentration camp for immigrants.
Totally not on topic AT ALL, but I'm listening to this into and thinking the guys would enjoy reading Dungeon Crawler Carl if they haven't.
And nobody would ever put refugees into a concentration camp ever again…. Nobody??? No. One single small german town called Schwerte in 2015 had a bright idea…..

a fun fact re: loving trains a little too much - in Ukrainian, the word for train (потяг) is in some contexts the same as "desire", and "sexual desire" (сексуальний потяг) also translates to "sexy train". and I think this describes me as a person quite accurately
