EARLY EPISODE: The M眉nster Rebellion: Part 1
What starts as a rational critique of the Reformation turns into a wild, sex crazed, blood thirsty, and heavily armed cult ruled by a man who thinks he can cure blindness by spitting in someone's eye while mass executions take place via comically oversized anime sword.
The Anabaptists of Munster eventually turn everyone against them from Martin Luther to the Catholics to their own believers who simply like their wives.
Content Warning: Everything, throughout the series.

The whole thing with the Latin Bible is especially weird since the Bible wasn't written in Latin...

Read the description without seeing the umlaut in M眉nster, thought it meant the Irish province, and thought 'ah, so that's what was up with those guys who worked for the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom.'

Some fun facts: - Luther was born with the last name "Luder", which still translates to slut - a "M眉nzer" is someone wo mints coins - the sword attributed to M眉nzer (which was made from a scythe) is displayed in M眉hlhausen in Thuringia (yes, there are several M眉hlhausens - it just translates to mill housing) - there is M眉nster (where the Anabaptists were) and Munster, where the German tank museum is situated...

On indulgences: they spare one from purgatory, not hell. Except maybe the crusading... but yeah hell is not avoidable, just the pain of purification
