Overlay is full body also but it's easier to add makeup and other skin details to the overlay skin from what I read. For instance, if you want to use it on a different character the skin overlay is more compatible.
from what i can tell the overlay is just the face and the skin is the entire body.

Yes! You are mad talented. Your skins are the ONLY ones I use and you're the only artist I pay to support for the incredible sims 4 content you produce. I'm just at awww at your work.
Your skins are so unbelievable, it makes me feel like real people are living in my game, lol. I was wondering if you would consider making some default skin replacements. There are ZERO realistic ones out there, and yours are the only skins I'll use on my Sims anyway. Dying to have my townies walking around like they're not cartoon characters! Thank you if possible! :)
