Playtest days!

Hey folks, here's what's been happening in Terry's world~

March 3rd, the final playtest of Awkward Dinner Party happened. It was so lovely working with SideQuest books and games, and a lot of people actually dressed up, so it was neat to see the game in the intended sort of ambiance <3 <3 <3 With this, I've made the last few adjustments before getting ready to publish on itchio :

• I changed a pinata icon in one of the character sheets because it wasn't recognizable.

• I also added a blank template so people can make their own character sheets!

• I'm changing the name of the game to "Awkward Dinner Party for Romantic Eccentrics" to "Masquerade of Romantic Eccentrics". The main function of the game being about hidden identity wasn't clear enough to me, so I wanted to emphasize it in the title. This means I'll have to redo the logo, though. You'll see that in the future when the itchio page drops!

The reason you haven't heard much from me lately is because I have been writing the script of the Masquerade video, which always takes forever uggghhhhsjkghjdfuhsh.

I actually love writing, but the process for me has never been what I would call efficient, haha. I'm always tweaking and scrapping and rewriting. I'm trying not to panic too much about the time crunch because I still have to film and edit the video and get moving on Mini-Mini-Mini Golf. On that front, though, there is good news:

Mini-Mini-Minigolf playtest days are here!

I will be bringing my March game, Mini-Mini-Mini Golf up to Salem Mass, aka witch city! I've been allowed to set up in the iconic Gulu-Gulu Cafe completely for free. You can come Tuesday the 10th, 17th, and 24th to try it out. Today I just signed up with a local makerspace so I can start fabricating the course, so very soon you'll be getting WIP photos!!!
