Patronichi: the pretty kingdom!

I basically said today I wouldn't go to sleep until I finished all the art I needed to and added it to the game (there's only 7 more days to finish!!!) and I managed to bang it out! I am like, a little too tired to write a super fun post though haha so I'm gonna share a quick preview image, and I'll elaborate a little more tomorrow or something!

Ahhh isn't it so cute? I also added a small big of code to make the plants swish in the breeze a little, and added some better animated water effects. When you mouse over the tavern and the kingdom, you can see the inside!

Now that this HUGE milestone is done, here's what left on the to-do list:

• recheck the walking regions with the new art

• test all the events (this one will probably take the longest time!)

• make the logo fade in and out at the game's start

• make the events display on the screen

• add sounds!

• add save and load system

• final testing

• publish!

There is supposed to be a snowstorm on Sunday, so I may not have to go in to work. We'll see!
