Ruined Town

Hey all!

I've done another collaboration with the fantastic JamesRPGArt! who's artwork adds great atmosphere and depth to any encounter. You'll find a sample pack of his scene art to go alongside this map download which includes animated day and night variations to really set the mood for the encounter with your players.

The fountain still runs. The carved stone petals still hold clear water, seemingly untouched by algae or decay, while every building surrounding it slowly yields to time.

Shuttered homes give way to decay, holes opening up in the roofs, creeping ivy taking hold and making walls weak. The abandoned market stalls remain exactly as they were left, as though the merchants simply wandered away for the afternoon and never returned. The silence is broken only by the steady, calming splash of falling water.

As the light fades and night settles over the town, pale figures begin their familiar walk through the streets. They pause at empty doorways and linger beneath torn canopies, never speaking, never acknowledging anyone who might try to speak to them. They don't appear to be searching for revenge or release. They're simply following the last evening they ever knew, while the fountain unceasingly flows in the background.
