Hello! Patch 0.2 is finished and now released for the appropriate tiers. $50, 25 and 15 get early access now, $5 gets access in 3 days from now, and public release will be available in one week from now.

Here's what's in 0.2:

Amelia continues to settle in to Avarton, though an appearance of a diplomat she’s met in her past means she’ll have to navigate her position in Avarton a bit more carefully, at least for the moment.

0.2 includes several new sprites for 8 characters:

• Alex

• Amber

• Cade

• Eleanor

• Diplomat

• Diplomat’s man

• Steffanie

• Gang member

2 new backgrounds for the slums/alleyways.

It also includes 2 main quests and 1 side quest:

Diplomat Investigation:

Though Amelia has a good idea of who might be the diplomat that’s arrived in Avarton and causing an issue with tax collection; she can’t be 100% sure without investigating. She has to look into it and find out if her suspicions are correct - because if so, it will cause some problems for her in the future.

Searching Underground:

Amelia’s mere presence has been enough to (understandably) increase business at the brothel - and it’s brought attention from one of the gangs. She has to look into it and deal with it one way or another - whether she ends up agreeing to concede to their demands, or resolve the situation another way. But first she’ll have to locate the gang’s boss - what’s the use in talking to intermediaries?

Booze Trading (mini-quest):

Willow finds herself needing some help! You can help her with a special shipment, or not. But she might like you a little less if you don’t. 

All of these quests include several choices that Amelia can make that will impact her later on in future events.

Included is a new prologue that better suits this as a stand-alone project for new players that aren’t familiar with KoD. It’s just a small edit, but replaces Amelia talking with Sabia in favour of a small exposition screen like KoD had. It should orient new players much better.
