Kingdom of Deception: Amelia 0.1

Hey everyone - here's the first patch for this project, patch 0.1. In it, we step back a few years from Sabia's current predicament, and we'll learn some of the background of Avarton, and Amelia.

In this intro patch, we are introduced to Amelia first coming to Avarton, and her first few days there. As we spend more time with her, we'll find out more about her, her goals, secrets about Lundar, and new characters! She embarks on a small quest to position herself such that she can exert her will and influence in the brothel.

Future patches will expand her reach in Avarton and see more characters and factions! We hope you like it and enjoy it, we're excited to get the next patch to you as soon as we can!

What's next?

For a super detailed outline of what's next and how we're going behind-the-scenes, please check the previous post, but here's a TL;DR: We're working on the variant vote right now, and then we're going to start working on patch 0.2 After we start on that, we'll put up a patreon pick for one of the scenes. We expect 0.2 to be twice as big or larger than the intro patch.

We will continue redoing art assets to have a cohesive art style from LewdJoy, as well as working on UI elements.

We felt it was more important to get a playable intro out that we can iterate on as soon as possible, given the previous derailment and delays KoD has experienced. In the next few days a full post-development for this intro patch will be written up and posted, and I'll go very in-depth on it for those that are interested in that.
