FLASHGITZ FRIDAY (SATURDAY EDITION) 9/26
BROTHERS! Welcome back to Flashgitz Friday Saturday, the only news source that has and will EVER matter. Unlike those other boring news sites, we only deliver GOOD news.. and BOY do we have some good news today! So strap in because IT’S VICTORY LAP TIME!!
We beat our FINAL stretch goal of $8,008,135! Big shout out to you beautiful little spergs who made it all possible.
The Kickstarter campaign has ended and looking back on all the support we’ve gotten in the last month has been insane. Backing this campaign was no small ask, but you guys absolutely crushed every goal we set forth, proving once and for all that Space King has the best fans on the planet. Many people worked very hard on making this the best board game possible and we’re very excited for you all to play it. Don’t forget to homebrew some OCs and tell us about them! And don’t go making any girls!
Now onto the topic of Space King 6!!!!!!!!!!!! Production has been chugging along, with new art and animation being constantly submitted by our indentured servants. We’re working on assets, special poses, backgrounds, and animation. It’s pretty much all-hands-on-deck right now. This episode is one of the funniest ones we’ve done so far, so the artwork has to blow all the other episodes out of the water (as is the tradition with every episode.)

Bones? Bikes? Boys?? This episode has it all! I know it’s hard to keep your heart rate down when you get excited (what with your high blood pressure and all), but try and keep a cool head. We have a little ways to go before we have a finished episode. Luckily, there’s a super secret second channel that only guys with big PPs know about: The Tom and Don channel!
This week on Tom and Don, we’re gonna do a director’s commentary on the latest Hatemonger’s Sermon that just released! It was a bit more complex than our usual sermons, so there’s a lot more to talk about! Kinglish? Blapanese? C’mon, those are fucking great. And there’s a lot more to talk about in this exciting episode of Tom and Don!

Alright, Brothers, that does it for this Flashgitz Friday (for real this time!). But before I go, I want to thank all you Brothers for all your support. Not only did we get to make an indie animated series that you can all enjoy, but we made a fucking BOARD GAME with actual miniatures! A SHIT-LOAD of miniatures, at that! And it’s actually fun to play! Do you know how many board games are actually fun? Probably about 10%. And it’s all thanks to you, Brothers.

Is there a plan to add a little insert for some of the other background legions in the Psycho Warrior pack? It'd be cool to see how to paint them as Wargonites, Ostrogoths, and some of the Heretic/background legions. I'm looking forward to making a Wargonites squad for chip and some heretics to fight. So, I'm guessing part of the plot is going to be that the medic's injured and no globule retrieval/resurrections will be available during the mission. Also, when are we getting a Hatemonger-centric episode?

Hey guys, just curious. You mentioned during the livestream that you had vaguely considered the "alternate" version of the alien queen for the nine million mark, but didn't bother with her since it seemed unlikely we'd hit that point. Since we proved the power of our devotion/autism, and blew well past that mark, any chance she might still be in the works? For research purposes obviously. One must know the enemy in all forms they take. Praise be to Space King!

I love how the kickstarter is still going up as people finalise their pledges before paying. It finished at what 9.3 now it is currently at 9.5 million.
