A Letter to my Patrons: Changes Coming Soon

Hi, everyone!

I’m almost done with preparations for the final season of High-Class Homos — what a bittersweet feeling! — and I’m very excited and a bit nervous about what lies after. It’ll be my first time flying totally solo as an artist since HCH’s WEBTOON run began in 2021.

So I thought it was time to rejuvenate my Patreon! The tiers and rewards here haven’t been changed at all since the first HCH post went viral on instagram in 2018. I want to offer better, updated rewards, and hopefully be able to support myself a little more as an independent artist.

The $1 tier will stay exactly as it is, keeping full access to the current archive, and receiving the occasional exclusive post! The upper tiers, though, will be reworked over the next month or so. Here are my current plans:

$3 tier: early access to my independent comics, and name in credits! For Miss Jersey Devil, this will look like being X number of chapters ahead at all times (essentially, a backlog). For one-shots, posts will come one week early!

$6 tier: all of the previous rewards, plus a monthly scan of my sketchbook. I typically fill up about 15-20 pages of my sketchbook each month with character art, doodles, and writings. You’d receive a collection of these scans in pdf form, like a mini art book at the end of every month! Here’s an example two-page spread, below.

$12 tier (limited to 50 slots): OC cameo submission! Enter a character design to be used in a rotating roster of background characters in Miss Jersey Devil. Choose what kind of role they’ll be used for: human university student, demon, angel, and more!

Some of the details may end up getting tweaked as they’re rolled out, and I have a few more ideas to implement later. Physical rewards, such as mailing out stickers or prints, will be on my radar once I figure out the proper logistics. And if you have any suggestions for rewards that you’d be excited to receive, I’d love to hear your input!

To my patrons — thank you so, so much for your continued support. I am truly living my dream, having such a wonderful community like you who care deeply about my art. I know that these past few years have been difficult, financially, for many of us. So whether you’re able to contribute, or have to cut down on spending and step away from being a patron, I am so grateful for each and every one of you who feel a connection to my work.
