Arturia KEYSTEP 2: It's not an update, it’s a new composition workflow ( + Outro jam download)

Keystep 2 is out - and it's not what I expected. As you may know, I'm a fan of the original Keystep and Keystep 37 - they work, they're fast and they don't take up much space.
I expected an incremental update, but instead, Keystep 2 is a refreshing improvisation/performance/composition tool, letting you convert arps to sequences, sequences to arps, and mutate/spice patterns along the way.
It's well worth a look! More info in the video, and my outro jam is attached.

Thank you for this video, I just purchased this and am starting to dive in, using your video as a guide of course. I was confused a bit and did submit a support ticket to Arturia regarding making the Mk2 the master so I can use the SEQ & ARP functions. (I am reading your in-complete book to learn more too.) For whatever this is worth, I was hoping to learn more and any advice or pointing me in the right direction is very appreciated. I am using the MK2 exclusively with my synths. I think the MK2 is suppose to be the master, but not sure about receiving? I was hoping to use my cv outs on the MK2 to trigger the Labyrinth, but not sure on the vc MK2 correct settings. For reference, I have my MK2 directly connected to midi in on the mother32 and can trigger the DFAM from the Mother32. Thank you for any advice or help please. Jeff
Hey, thanks for joining my Patreon! Yes it should work you just need to set the clock to external if you want to follow external clock, or internal if you want it to be master. You can also trigger the labyrinth depending on what you want to do. Please note though that I don't offer 1x1 sessions/setup troubleshooting to work through the different use cases sorry!
