Speak & Glitch GND 1T // a charming synth that puts the “mental” in experimental music

My last video of the year is an odd one, well, at least the synth is. Speak and Glitch GND-1T is a celebration of modulation, randomization and mayhem with a circuit bent emulation of TI's chip from the famous Speak and Spell toy from 1978, along with a generative drum sequencer that responds to audio and several mod sources in a very original way.
GND-1T is a passion project of Richard Van Hoesel from Australia, and it shows. It isn't easy to use, but it sure packs character and generates sounds like no other synth. More info in the video, and if you choose to upgrade to a paid tier, you'll get an exclusive audio download that's around twice as long as the one in the video.
It starts calm but quickly goes into wilder territories, so speakers beware!

Hallo Sir, I watched some of your videos on YouTube and I admire your work. I am a music student and I am curious about learning step sequencing. What Book do you recommend for someone who is just starting making beats and knows nothing about step sequencers ? And there any Books about this Subject? I want to learn it but I don't even know where to start and what gear is good for me. I appreciate your guidance!
Thanks for the kind words and for being here. I'm not familiar with such a book, however, any sequencer/groovebox I've reviewed covers their step sequencing capabilities. Check out for example my KeyStep Pro video, or for an easy sequencer, and Hapax for more advanced step sequencing.
