Erica Synths x 112db Steampipe // multisamples coming, HQ audio attached!
Hi!
Steampipe from Erica Synths and 112db is here (well, a week away, I'm told...)—and so is my review. It's a synth entirely based on physical modeling synthesis, with an extremely hands-on approach, letting you explore elements within its feedback loop that most synths shy away from.
All the details are in my video, and I've attached high-quality audio of me playing its presets for a little over 10 minutes.
Multisamples will be made available in the coming day or two for the Modulator and WaveShaper tiers, along with several exclusive presets I made for it if you happen to get one!
All my best,
Ziv (swirling in chaotic feedback loops on a youtube channel called "Loopop"...)

I'm finding one of the coolest things (so far) with Steampipe is pumping drum (and/or other) sequences in through the audio input and completely transforming them into melodic rhythmic content. Very powerful and beautiful!
Hi ziv. I saw you playing polyphonic. But is not clear to me if steampipe is multi timbral with 8 simultaneous voices. Could you confirm?
Yes it is polyphonic (8 voices), but it is NOT multi-timbral
Nice sounds… quite organic. ❤️
I like that I hope to learn more about it in the future
