KORG's multi/poly vs the world // + high quality download 30 minutes playing its presets
Hi!
... and here's #2!
Korg has really leaned into the 3-octave full-size key synth form factor—this is the fifth in its series! Multi/poly is inspired by Mono/Poly from 1982, but really is more of a sibling to wavestate and modwave. More specifically, even though the focus is virtual analog, this seems close to modwave, so that's what I focus on throughout the video—taking a look at what makes each unique, along with highlighting the large overlap.
Attached is a high-quality download of 30 minutes of me playing almost 70 of its presets—I think this whole line of synths sounds pretty good, but you tell me!
All my best,
Ziv (get your popcorn, it's gonna take a while to watch this one on a youtube channel called "Loopop"...)
