Keylab MK3 vs Essential vs the competition

The other shoe is dropping! After releasing the entry-level Keylab Essential MK3, Arturia is now upgrading its premium controller to Keylab MK3 - in this video is everything that's new and a comparison to Essential as well as the competition.

Hi - it's software called Synthesia, not free, but there's a free option called MIDIVisualizer that's a little less user friendly but works just as well. Thanks for you ongoing support here BTW!
Its probably better now, but the DAW ctrl was more headache than helpful I feel. Matched with Ableton the response REC and "live" tuning of synths was way off. I matched sample rate and checked sound card but it wouldn't come below 3.0 in latency...I could of course have messed something up, but theres other gear that flow was better
Great review as always, Ziv – thank you! 🙏 😃 I really like the feature set of Keylab MK3. Too bad it hasn’t polyphonic aftertouch. I wonder if there will be any controller with an MPE keybed like that one of the PolyBrute 12 (in fact I hoped the KeyLab MK3 would come with an option for that keybed).

I had the essential one for a few days but couldn't stand the mushy keybed feeling. Is this significantly better?

88 MK3 coming you think? Hoping for additional capabilities on that one if they release it.
