Oberheim TEO-5 explored in depth (+12 minute music download)
Hi!
OK, last video for Superbooth: It's Oberheim's new TEO-5 - based on the Sequential's Take-5 platform, only with an SEM morphing filter and - a first for the company - thru zero FM, which makes playing analog FM chromatically and in tune a lot easier.
I'm off to the show floor and will be sharing tidbits on Instagram/Facebook stories, if there's anything in particular you'd like me to check out please let me know!
In the video, I promise Patreon multi-samples - unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to leave for Superbooth a day earlier, so I didn't have time to prepare them - I will when I get back!
Without spending time on a detailed analysis, I think there's an overlap with how the OB-X8 sounds, so if you haven't checked out those multisamples you can get quite a bit of Oberheim goodness here. I'll include similar TEO-5 sounds when that sample pack is out, but I'll also get some TZFM sounds in for non-typical Oberheim sounds!
All my best,
Ziv (that's it no more videos this week on a youtube channel called "Loopop" ...)
