Valentime at Shibo Mansion Authoritative Server Testing Build

Our work on the VSM rewrite in Godot is going very well. This week I was able to finish up the Authoritative Server rewrite which moves most of the game logic onto the server. This unfortunately makes the game more laggy since the state on the client has to sync with the state on the server but I think we got it to a point where it is tolerable. Its for sure not AAA quality but I am happy for how it has turned out for the work put in.

With this done we are kind of on the final 2 phases of the project:

• Web client

• SSO integration and other minor improvements

I dont know yet how much we might polish this up but I do look forward to sharing what we have learned with you all once we get there.

As usual only the windows client is really tested but we do include Linux and Mac clients. The sprites are copyright of PeachClamNine and used with permission.
