Fundraiser for the site
Its been a bit since I made a post here. For those of you who don't know I am starting to reach a bit of a breaking point with the site. I am planning some major changes as a last ditch attempt to keep things running.
One of the devs on WG though by the name of Keyfarer convinced me to at least try a fund raiser to see if I can keep things going. You can find details in the linked post but basically we are aiming for at least $2400/month for 3 consecutive months. I would urge any considering donating to check out the linked post first for more details. Also as odd as it sounds I am not accepting any monthly donations over $250/month so please stick the the defined tiers.
Thank you all for your support over the years. I really hope this works out, but if it does not I am sorry I couldn't do more.

Went ahead and donated what I could, hope it all works out for everyone!
Hi! I just wanted to say I've used your forums for years. I saw we were close the finish line so I did pledge. Thanks for all your hard work! <3 - Longtime Lurker
It's wonderful to see the WG community so united in this! Thank you for all the work you have done and continue to do, @grotlover2 !
I don’t know how any of you all feel, but its fun and feel good to see people banding together to keep this slice of the internet alive. Seeing the new topics or sometimes new people spring up and shoot their ideas or projects onto the forum to get some eyes or ears open to see and hear. I’ve been reading though the posts that happened recently and I can only offer some money on patreon and my well wishes that grot will get some much needed reprieve after a load is taken off the shoulders with finance and may he find some joy in creation if he ever feels an idea spark.
looks like you are creeping up on the goal! just a smidge more to go there buddy, on a side note cant make an account on the actual site (usually anon. lurk the project section) any idea why it throws a fit about IPs?
Sorry, the forums sometimes blocks large IP ranges when we get flooded with spam bots. I try to clear them routinely though so I would suggest trying again if you are having issues. Also, certain countries are blocked by our auth service due to mandated US embargoes so if you are in one of those affected countries that could also be causing you issues.

Keyfarer is a super nice guy 👍
I wanted to ask cause you have all the numbers. from what you've seen of the drive so far is it looking good for reaching the goal ? I know you can't predict perfectly but from what I saw the amout raised monthly has doubled so far. Do you think the 2400 is likely now or too early to say ?
To early to say. It's a hopeful initial start but I have seen drives like this stall out at the last min
