I was shy of becoming your patron for a long time, but I am glad I finally did it. your artwork and animations are really special to me because they make perfect sense and the characters are incredibly human-like.

I hope you're okay, Diives. Whatever compelled you to make this comic, I hope it wasn't because you're feeling the same way as these characters. You're a great artist of course, but you're also a great person. We may not know what you look like, or be in your physical presence, but your art communicates plenty to us, and we're not just here to get our jollies at some hentai. Your works are expressive, innovative, and created with passion; all of which you should be proud of. A lesser person wouldn't be able to do what you do, even for the paycheck, because your earnest talent comes from a place others can't simply emulate. I've been thinking about this comic since I saw it yesterday, and had it explained fully to me cause I wasn't sure: Diives really has my respect for making such a moving comic with such a powerful message and delivered in a cute way. This piece really speaks to me.

Exactly, self-harm. Sometimes the happiest people are, in reality, the saddest. This was the unfortunate case with Robin Williams. Depression is a real and serious mental illness, if someone you know suddenly becomes super happy, when you've known them to be sad, that could be a strong signal that they're making amends with everyone and their life, before ending it. Become someone's anchor to the world, so they don't leave it and others more alone.
And now I'm even sadder.

This comic could be easily misunderstood...from my perspective Gaghs is helping her get over self-harm, but from the comments it seems a lot of people read it differently

That's what I love about Diives' artwork. They're lovable characters inside and out, from the lewd images to the non-lewd ones. The characters all have depth to who they are and what makes them so lovable and dear in their own universe.

uhhhhh was this a suicide joke/comic???? Seems really opposite your usual messages and kinda downright terrifying to suddenly highlight a character cutting herself and/or attempting suicide, holy shit dude
I think that's kind of the point, especially during the month of february where people are perhaps the most aware that they are single / alone. It's to highlight that everyone is going through some type of struggle, even the people you think have it all together or people you think seem 'happy'. This kind of stuff actually happens dude.
