Ok really though, this is it for 2022, On to 2023!

Hello friends! So as we have already looked back at the year that was and as has been tradition it is time to look ahead to what could be! As most know I like to do a little write up of ideas and goals of creative things and other projects I want to try in the year to come. So let's run down a list of all my ideas, where they're at currently and how we may get to them eventually!

1. Draw! - So Draw is the tabletop game I started way back, picked back up in 2022 and basically finished. So why is it on this list for 2023? Well I want to finalize some of the loose ends, get the rules and cards out to some folks for proofreading and then really look into how I can make this a physical game maybe that folks can buy. Whether that means via Kickstarter or something else, who knows but it is something I think is doable and why not? Making stuff is cool and I think the game is fun.

2. Knight Light TTRPG - The goal with this is to have at least a first draft of the setting and rules of the system written out this year if not completed. I think defining the system will be the biggest hurdle for me as I have specific things I am hoping to be able to capture from a game feel and flow perspective. We'll see.

3. More art - This is kind of obvious but I want to continue to push myself, my characters and what we do with the monthly art. Maybe try some different type of printing for some bonus print month;s or something? Who knows, experimenting is cool!

4. Expanding the Patreon - Not only from a size perspective in gaining more support but also in the offerings. We've chatted a bit about potentially offering more in the way of feedback/critique and maybe making a new tier for folks who are more inclined to that sort of thing.

5. More and better Youtube/Streaming - So I love streaming art and I want to invest a bit of time at fleshing that experience out even more and along with that making more than just "hey here's a timelapse" on Youtube. Now it will still be timelapses but how can I make those more enjoyable to watch and maybe even slightly more engaging with some commentary or something.
6. Picture books! - I have LONG wanted to try and adapt a short story into a picture book both as a fun experience to hopefully learn from but also maybe to find some work and even representation as an illustrator. I love the medium and I think I could do it well. But I won't know unless I try so if I can find the time I'd love to finally dive in here.

7. Night Shift - The drum beats on for Night Shift and it will continue to be a fun outlet for me to work a bit more of the design side of my brain. I'm aiming to add two new collections in 2023 with a few designs each. And maybe add more new products as well?

8. Make some sort of video game - Whether it's a just a simple, basic ass two level platformer or something more. I just wanna dip my feet in, learn some stuff and see what happens. Plus this will maybe let me continue to practice pixel art!

9. Design a vinyl figure or something - This is sort of a selfish one as I just love vinyl figures and stuff and would love to design one. Working with someone to model it and potentially get something printed would be awesome.

10. Pitch! - So I have had talks with a few different folks about some of my ideas and potentially pitching them for different things so let's actually try and build a pitch deck or something for one and see what happens.

And more! - So there is a bunch of other stuff in my head and who knows what sort of random things will pop up throughout the year but this is a simple list and one I can check back in on as the year goes on and sort of aim at what's next. As for where y'all come into it, it's your continued support! Honestly I am fueled constantly by your positivity and support of what I am doing. Do you want to see new additions to the patreon? New tiers? This has and will always be a collaborative, living thing here so I am always open to new ideas and how we can make the experience better and get you as much value as possible for your hard earned dollars you've chosen to support me with.  So thank you again, have an amazing holiday and as always, be good to each other. <3
