Small update for November and beyond
Hey folks,
So I just wanted to take a few minutes and share an update on where things are at for the patreon and myself as we head into the last couple months of the year. I'll try and make this is comprehensive as possible while not taking up too much of your time.
Firstly, it is now a new month so as per I will be getting to work on this month's postcard and sticker art shortly. I still have some ideas from earlier parts of the year that I didn't get to for one reason or another so may see if it is finally time to dust them off.
As for sketchbook posts you may have noticed there wasn't one for October and may not be for the rest of the year and the simple reason is I just haven't been sketching. The last handful of months I have pretty much gone from gig to gig with one larger one in the back so any time I have spent drawing has been for work and I unfortunately cannot share that stuff yet, but hopefully soon!
Outside of specifically what we'll be doing in November with the regular monthly art I am wanting to try and see if there are different ways to expand or add to the patreon. Things maybe you all as the audience may like to see or get in return? New tiers, re-working others anything really. The reality is I have been doing monthly postcards for 4 years now and I truly do love making them and how supportive everyone has been and I don't really see stopping them. However I often think about other things I like and things I'd like to try or explore. Short form podcasts, maybe more video stuff if possible, lessons and critiques for folks who support me here that are maybe hoping to get more art education out of it. I'm not really sure but I pose this to you all as the folks who make this whole thing happen.
So to summarize, things should continue on as normal for November and December, with maybe some nice little announcements for projects I worked on coming as well. Outside of that I sincerely urge you to let me know what you think of the current state of the patreon and any ways you'd like to see things change, improve or add and if I can make them happen.

I shut down my Patreon because of the new billing. It's unfair to me as a creator and most importantly, even more unfair to my supporters as they're getting their money stolen by Apple. Just know that wherever you go, I'll follow! I'm a fan! And I think some other things you can do are time lapse videos with commentary. I'm a sucker for the brain space of artists while they create.
Thank you man, I always appreciate the support. Timelapse stuff is definitely something I'd love to get back to as it's always fun getting them sorted and up on youtube. While I usually don't do commentary over them I'll try and be better about that as I'm sure it'll be better for the audience too. As for the apple stuff, yeah it stinks. I haven't gone as far as thinking about shutting down but I do urge everyone to never sub to anything through your phone. Always go web as it keeps those cuts away from the supporters and those you choose to support. Maybe something I'll add as a small tag to future social posts involving the patreon.
Love the idea of the podcasts or videos! You've got a great personality and speak on things well whenever we've talked. I think people would enjoy hearing from you more.
