For some reason I can't cut down the trees, I used to be able to but just recently after cutting down 3 trees at once they stopped letting me cut they entirely. And even after I kept redownloading over and over and trying basically everything it still won't work, any ideas why?

While some parts are a TINY BIT questionable and a TINY bit weird i think its a wholesome game over all and i would appreciate it if you could add a setting that covers up the wolf mom so people can't really call it a fan service game

Hello! I want to give some reviews on the game play. On my side, there are a couple of bug. I hope i don't sound like a suck-up that's just bad at the game Here is the list of bugs that happened when I was playing Family Time episode 2: 1: The pups won't eat the meat even when uncommand 2: Some pups will just, not, follow you. (for some reason. Also the Mama Wolf also, sometimes doesn't follow you) 3: Some pups would just spawn underneath the wood floors (if where you built has space underneath) Now, I'm new to this game and just started. I don't really understand some mechanics. But if this is just a skill issue of mine then, please let me know. Overall the game is really wholesome and fun to play on your free time.

my pc is so fking old that iu tried every single version of this game and when it opens (if it actualy can) the invisible trees will alays come up to me and murder my family, before anyone ask: 6 gigs of ram, 256 gigs ssd, intel core i3 and no grafics card (its a lenovo laptop)

Hey, good afternoon. I’m running into an error, and I’m not sure why it’s happening. I downloaded the game, extracted the files, and clicked on the executable, but the game just opens to a black screen and stays that way indefinitely. I’ve tried opening it again, restarting my PC, and running it as an administrator, but nothing works. Do you have any idea what might be causing this?

so... i have an interesting problem with Episode 2... it will NOT let me delete the ".exe" for some reason, i tryed and aparently the problem is that i have no permits to either read, modify or anything with means i can NOT delete it (tryed cmd, going into parameters and such but no cant do)

Hey! I'm having some graphical issues with Family Time on my PC. The game launches and runs at a decent FPS, but the trees and water aren't appearing at all. Everything else seems to render, but these parts of the environment are completely missing. I've already tried both the DX11 and DX12 versions (Build 37) and several different fixes, but nothing has worked so far. My PC specs are: - CPU: Intel Core i5-4570 - GPU: Intel HD Graphics 4600 - RAM: 16 GB - OS: Windows 10 Pro I know my PC is pretty low-end, but since the game runs relatively well, I'm wondering if this could be a rendering or compatibility issue with my integrated graphics. Is there anything I can do to fix this? I'd really love to experience the game properly! Thanks for your time, and keep up the great work!

Curiously I don't seem to have water generating in my world, or any world I generate no matter the seed, I got my friends to generate/give me their saves and the water appears in my world when I do that, (it also appears when I use the well) but when I went to sleep, on the save given to me, with the water generated, it then proceeded to get deleted once again, and it's preventing me from watering my kiddos T-T

i dont know why, but when i play the demo for this game, the character gets really glitchy when i dig a hole, my daughters dont follow me when i call them and wont sleep when i tell them to, but the game itself is fun and really cool

Looks like you have to manually assist your pups when they're "stuck" on a terrain of mountain that could easily make them slide down but instead they'll either go back and forth or you'll have to shovel or add gravel just for them to move, also a lot of them get left behind if they can't reach their siblings or see them from afar (just my observation) plus they seem to struggle to go around rocks or trees sometimes, I crashed around 300 pups ;-; (just learning about the save/load feature)

i got an issue with picking up the wolf mama, if you messup with right and left click she fly away (grab her with left, then right click, left click, right click, right click again and here is the bug for me)

Hello! Goblina here! I just pledged $5 for this. The game doesn't seem to run well with traditional Windows emulators on Linux (such as Wine and Bottles). It usually results in the terrain generation going crazy and having me spawned in a wasteland without trees. I was able to get the game to work properly through Steam, using it's Proton windows emulator. Other than that, I love the game!

Why exactly doesn’t DX 12 run on older devices? In DX 11, there are simply no trees, no water, no stones — which means there’s nothing to do there. My build is 13 years old, but it’s not completely weak — just below average.

While I was eventually able to figure out that you had to hold right click to break structures there wasn't any place in the tutorials or controls that mentioned that so it would probably be helpful to include when you get a chance. Also I built my house with my farm on the side and that apparently was a bad idea because my pups will wake up and maul my chickens due to phasing through the wall into their pen. Edit: Finally ran into more chickens and figured out what happened. Apparently, if you have hungry wolf pups and they aren't following you they will attempt to kill chickens automatically. Does naming an animal stop this (I think I saw that mentioned somewhere) if not could we possibly get someway to mark chickens not to be targets for mauling because otherwise chicken farms seem quite painful to use.

There is a bug where, if you hold the mother over an unbuilt bed while holding the hammer, the bed gets built and the mommy disappears forever.

The game is amazing; it’s quite interesting to interact with the puppies, watch them carry boards and fly away from the boars’ attacks :D I want to list the mistakes I came across while playing, so as to help the project: 1. Once, when I already had 96 (I think) puppies, the game simply crashed — there was an error in the Unity game engine, which made me chuckle, of course. 2. Sometimes the puppies get stuck in the landscape, and they don’t always react to the whistle (F) and just sit there until I personally come and get them. It’s the same with the house/walls — many of them just get stuck when they hear the whistle (F). 3. Sometimes the puppies refuse to go to sleep, even though their beds are in normal places; I don’t know what causes this. 4. Sometimes during the game, the markers above the puppies’ heads would disappear, meaning I simply couldn’t see which of them was hungry/full, couldn’t see the marker when I blew the whistle (F), and couldn’t see other markers. So far, these are all the bugs I can remember; if I remember anything else, I’ll add it.

Sometimes when you lock a little child in place, they'll get glitched and stand still and wont move or listen to any commands. Makes the game unadvancable.

Heya I just subbed to test the game, and i have two things. One, I find it easy to accidentally dig an inescapable pit, and two, i cant seem to be able to chop trees. I cant really figure it out yet. play this game for some time now and just realize i cant fine any water sorce for my children. i already build build a house and farms and i got a flat world generation so i dont want to restart. it there anyway to make river. i fine it funny other people have problem with foolding mine just didnt have any rivers.

sorry I don't know where to leave any possible bugs but uh, I was playing and accidentally found out that if you walk backwards against a wall going left or right, you start going double speed XD I haven't tried making a long wall yet to see if it goes faster, I just noticed it while I was building, nothing crazy. Honestly, love it! only thing is, after a while it does get boring, but I would suggest maybe adding things like shops and random things that are interactable. Since there are creatures exiled there, there could be, like, a potion shop for healing, feeding, and such, with, like, idk the goatman as the shopkeeper! And like other things, like unlocking more buildables and leveling up your character, also health, stamina, and maybe hunger/thrist for the player and mom, but she can take care of herself! Overall, I really love this cute game, and I can't wait to see what it becomes <3

There should be more than one button for giving commands, I keep having a problem where I'm trying to tell the kids to pick something up, but I accidentally tell them to drop everything right next to it instead, and it ends up rolling away and being really annoying.

ok a couple things, some issues ive had is like when i have planks on cots the planks are hard to pick up and if on cots that are in a line all facing one direction (the line is also in that direction) that because the cot mesh and collider are longer than they are wide causes them to engulf the parallel plank entirely. might wanna make planks collide with the rest of the builds. but overall i love the game, the style is great and i love how when you have a lot of them and they drink you visibly see all the water disappear. also another thing is water seems to just disappear at times, i built next to water and the next day it was just gone. idk it was weird 😭

help me, my pc so potato it broke the game. i cant even chop down trees "sad face" and for me the DX12 seem to didnt even loaded it just crash from the start, i dont know what it mean so dont bleam me!!

Would you ever consider adding a multiplayer feature where players can play as the children? I was talking with my friends, and we thought it would be really funny if the game had multiplayer support. I was thinking it could work through a local host/LAN system where one player hosts the game on their PC and the other players connect to them.

Some of the sound effects are a little loud, maybe a sound slider? That and a home marker/ map of some kind would be immaculate. For an alpha its pretty fun!

It would be cool if you would make it easier to save and load. I build a huge house and thought you cant save. So its lost now 😔. Would recommend a save button in the pause menu + multiple save slots would be really cool

Hi Just letting you know that sadly trying to run the game on linux through Compatibility layers like Wine and Proton don't work. (wasn't expecting it to, but just an FYI as more people move to Linux for gaming)

It's functional on my Android via an emulator for DX11 one. Fantastic! I'll test more later, after I got some free time. Especially to see whether how much I can have before they start dropping my frame.

Okay, so what just happened to me is that the exact moment I clicked YES to go to sleep, there was a thunder and all of my kids woke up. Then Mama shouted at me because one of them was missing. :/ Now I'm sad. I'd like it if the game time paused while I'm in a menu or clicking on a bed. Either way, I love this game. Keep up the good work! ;)

Just reached the end of day two and for some reason the whole forest started to flood, tried to fix it with a shovel but to no avail, did I do something wrong? Is like infinite water eventually will swallow all!

This is genuinely one of the best games I've played all year, my family of nearly 1000 is unstoppable, a minimap of some sort would be nice, and some keybind to teleport all your children to you until the pathfinding is fixed

js played it for like 7 hour it was so peak it was funny af too and alot happen that i did see coming i js wish i could save my progress but we can save that for the full game i take it anyways the game was so fun something you could think to add is like playing games with the pups or something like hide and seek something like that and maybe the mom too idk tho also like a backpack carrying all the logs was hard but funny also tho i was like dam i wish i could care more there are alot of ways you can take this game and im hyped to see what you add and how far it goes i will be here supporting it all the way

Love the game! But it's kinda hard to farm pigs since you can't physically grab them, and luring them is kinda less efficient. Adding a way to build an easy pig farm would be great! Looking forward to seeing the full game release!

Love it so far. Please add roof. I tried using hay floors as a roof but there's no texture underneath and it seems to really mess up their ability to enter a house if done that way but no roof during thunderstorm seems not cool.

question is there a way to get past the tutorial cause no matter what i do i cant click yes or no. i can open the book/pause menu and move but cant look around because of it {the tutorial yes or no selection or the fact that its not register my mouse} also the window becomes a black screen that cant be closed or interacted to after minimizing and resizeing edit: found out it happens to all versions of the game and that it might only be me. i still would like help. i use Linux if this is helpful

the children seem to have trouble going to bed they ran out and around the house and teleported through the wall when the bed was right next to them

Great so far! Wanted to test the fail thing but doesn't seem to work. Mom only get's 1/3 anger. Tho I was just testing it in the morning, wake up and sleep again. No matter how many kids, anger was just level 1.

Hi! The game is amazing but I found something weird. If you put the children to bed, but then point at a log and order them to take it, they will get up and take it, but the game will continue to assume that they are asleep. For some reason, Wolf Mama doesn't get angry on more than one scale. Is that how it should be? And I have a question, will Wolf Mama be able to be more useful in the future? Apart from scaring, she can't do anything else. It's weird that children are so much more useful than her because she is stronger than the player and she does nothing. Also what languages are you planning to translate the game into? Sry for so big text, ik you have a lot of work. Keep cooking

I found a bug where if a cot is on the side of a cliff where one side is touching the cliff, the kids may try to path to the cot using the cliff tile and slip off it endlessly. I'm guessing they see it as a valid entry point to the cot even though the path between the two tiles is too steep.

Loved the game so far!!! We got a 11/10 mama wolf and the cute pups. Had a glitch that left one of the pups flying in the air but she eventually came down after a restart. This was after she got launched to the sky by the boar, been having so much fun taking care of these pups and mama wolf.

Can they only drink from natural water? I put them in the well (i know it sounds bad) and they wouldn't drink from it. I can't tell them to do anything with it either. Am I missing something or?

A quick question about water. On the night of my first day, a massive river spawned and nearly flooded my house. I successfully rerouted it near its spring, saving my little compound and providing me with lakefront property, but it made me wonder: do these springs spawn with the map generation, and the water just took a while to break over natural dams to reach me? Or are they randomly generated during live gameplay to add a challenge? I noticed that after the spring's source pool had nearly depleted after rerouting, it refilled itself to the brim, requiring me to make adjustments to my dam. This made me curious about how it functions for the safety of my daughters.

You know what I would like? the ability to make caves and to basically make a wolf den in this game. unfortunately you can't with the dig tool

Some issues I found is when building a base with some floating platform some wolf pup will spawn in the ground. If build a object sometime they will get stuck on it. Sometimes my character will walk on it own sometimes. When making pits for easier hunting they'll get stuck on the side of the walls notice if its 9x9 is works better.

Can we increase the number of chickens? On the first day I found it, I couldn't find the chicken even at night

I had an issue where some pups, for some reason, just stopped responding to any command whatsoever. Stopped following, didn't want to go to sleep, nothing. I tried picking them up and putting them back down, putting them next to the bed when I wanted them to sleep, but no response anymore. I suspect one (or several) of the order made them loop into trying to do something that they couldn't do, like carrying a log that didn't exist anymore because I cut it down, or something.

It will definitely be wise to keep this steam wishlist message at the end of every future video from now on!

Somehow I cannot get the pups to drink, tried for a while without success. Also the terrain is tricky to navigate and I lost the house at day 2 trying to find chickens. A map would be very welcome. I really wanna engage in the game, but without being able to save and having to restart each time I close it is pretty demoralysing.

How do I feed the Children? I literally can't find in the Tutorial on how to take che chicken out of the Inventory. And why can't I jump? I already got stuck in a pit. And where on the map will I find chickens? I see only pigs and can't kill those with only 3 pups. Edit: Ok, I figured out those Chicken wings are food needed. I can't jump with kids on me but still couldn't jump out of many Pitfalls. I STILL can't find a single chicken for the Pups to kill, only Pigs, which I'm unable to attack. I mean seriously, Tutorials on Food should take priority BEFORE building. Not to mention being unable to save.
