August Content Schedule! (For Now)

Here is our new schedule for August! Once we can resume paused shows we will be releasing that content, as well as releasing any scheduled content.
Movies are the only thing on this list that are still catching up, and given the turnaround time, it will take us a few weeks to do so. We will be having new movies arriving on Patreon and moving to YouTube in the meantime.
We will no longer be having daily updates, but if anything changes, we will be sure to post updates when they occur.
Blind Wave will continue to create content for the coming months whether we continue pausing or not. We will update our schedule accordingly as new content begins rolling out.

I’m unsure why you guys are supporting limited content because of this strike? It will make 0 difference unfortunately to the big companies and the writers, it’s only going to effect YOU guys as a business and directly effect your income. Agreeing with everyone else, the patreon benefits are not worth the $25+ that i am paying :(

I don't know if it would fall under the strike or not, but I highly recommend the animated series Voltron: Legendary Defender on Netflix. It's fantastic and came out before reaction channels really took off. It's so good!
It is an awful show for 8 year olds. At least Blind Wave has removed all of the adults from their fan base. People that don't love cartoons for children have nothing left to watch.

Sorry but I don't see much on this schedule that really interests me aside from like one show but that doesnt really justify the patreon pricepoint imo. I'll consider returning if the strike ends or a new schedule with more interesting shows is put out after this one is over.
Was really hoping for more Naruto or some other returning series they've left on the back burner. Not feeling the new additions but I understand them not wanting to commit to something more substantial given the uncertainty of the situation. Unfortunately I'm gonna have to pause my subscription for August.

I don’t really get the point of watching journeys if 1. You guys have most definitely not been caught up with the anime (which isn’t a huge deal but watching journeys just has more weight if you’re actually caught up with Ash’s journeys through the years and the Pokémon he’s caught and his relationships with them and side characters) 2. Aren’t even watching ALL of journeys and only watching Ultimate (there’s some really good episodes you’d be skipping)

I support yall's stance on the strikes so no worries there but with shows being paused and what not, nothing much is enticing to keep the patreon sub up for me other than positive sentiment. Simple man as I am though double naruto drops would fix that :) lolol. Hope everyone can last these slow periods without losing their heads.
Unfortunately, August will be the first month since the middle of 2018 I won't be able to support the Blindwave on Patreon. I'm baffled by the lack of non-struck legacy shows on the schedule and there's not enough there to justify spending money.

I love this channel and what you do but I might have to back my Patreon level off for awhile. Just not much on the schedule that draws my interest right now. I'll have to give it some thought.
Seriously I mean even before the strike they weren’t doing shows that I was a fan of. Plus how long it takes them to get back to super popular shows is just ridiculous. The only show I liked as of recently was Ted Lasso but now they’re stopping it for an unforseeable amount of time.

If you're looking for more BBC comedies I think you guys would like Red Dwarf. A classic British comedy sci fi. All series are on BBC iPlayer if you get that in US. Don't really need to watch in order either apart from first episode for story.

Do voice actors and writers of cartoons not fall under SAG/AFTRA? Why is it all cartoons? I know they went way too cartoon heavy to appease the weebs but this is just weird.

Man this is sad, first time ever there a zero shows i have interest in watching with them or have already watched. I know its personal preference when it comes to shows but still bummer schedule.
I'm in the same boat, especially since they won't be covering Ahsoka when it comes out. I'll join back after the strike though for sure if the schedule looks more appealing.
The guys will enjoy Fawlty Towers As far as content goes, I completely understand. They've stated some of them are looking at potentially getting into the business and crossing the picket line will doom their chances. I'll maintain my subscription for the time being in the hopes the strike gets resolved soon. We can always downgrade our status or quit in the meantime, but this is their bread and butter, so I'm in for now

To be fair Spy x Family won the poll to replace Assassination Classroom, so its not like they choose it over those two, but I do get what you're saying though.
EXTRMELY random suggestion but it could be cool if you guys did a heist with markiplier and in space with markiplier either all together or in 2 groups (Would be interesting to see who picks different endings)

Just my opinion here (and a proposed solution)... I really don't think that reaction channels can afford to (nor do they need to) pause entirely to support the strike. I'm a longtime supporter, but I'm having trouble reconciling paying for content I don't have access to, and seeing the benefit of losing subscribers to support a cause. The better thing to do would be to promote the strike without pausing. A short message before every reaction in support of the strike would actually benefit subscribers and the strike itself. Your subscriber base is nothing to overlook. You have sway over thousands of people who otherwise wouldn't care at all about striking writers and actors. You can educate, promote and propagate the information and benefits of why the strike is a great thing. The alternative is not reacting at all, losing subs, not getting the info out there...and probably most importantly -- not supporting the hard work of the people that made the film and TV that's being reacted to. I'd rather support the strike AND support the work already done on those shows while teaching others why its important that everyone gets equal pay for this amazing content that enriches our lives. Most people (especially in this economy) can't afford to pay for something they aren't getting a direct benefit from, though they may even want to (to support the strike). But in the end, the loss of subs will tip the scale towards a net loss for you and losing out on support for the strike.
They run the risk of not being able to join either union in the future, though.

Not trying to put my business out there like that but my financial situation had me having to cancel for a couple of months but seeing the freaking Glory on here... now I gotta go scrounging for change or something lol.
Kind of confused why they didn’t do all non struck legacy shows. At the very least I would like them to come out and say which ones they’re dropping. Seems the final season of Peaky Blinders has been dropped but no way to know since they’ve never once acknowledged it. I support these guys through thick and thin but I really don’t think it’s too much to ask to just acknowledge the shows. I know they’ve seen people asking. Won’t hold my breath though.
Or demon slayer or Jujutsu. Both shows which could of followed the live release.
Overall disappointing was hoping for Alice in borderland ,since it was on the last poll ,and really expected to see jjk and demon slayer to be added ill probably have to cancel my subscription theres just not much im interested in atm ,see yall when this is over 😕

Since I didn't expect them to react to all catch up shows this is not that bad. However my one minor gripe is if Faulty Towers BBC why didnt they do Peaky Blinders instead. Looking at I guess it was to have a comedy on there to make up for both Community & Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia not appearing anymore.
Fawlty Towers has 12 episodes. Peaky Blinders has 36. Shorter shows are better for this schedule because they're more likely to wrap before the strike ends.
The lack of legacy shows (aside from ghost in the shell finally) is really concerning…. I don’t want another Mob situation of waiting half a year to get to them…. At least they’re also doing Harley Quinn I suppose

Man its very disappointing that they have so few live shows anymore and still haven't done demon slayer or Jujutsu kaisen with the current weekly release of the dub. Idk, its just disappointing that there not continuing these popular shows especially when they could have been done along with the weekly release with both dubs.
They should definitely bring back Games Night as a live show

Since you said you're accepting suggestions for content, and I see you added The Glory to the list, I see that you're open to K-dramas! If that's the case, I recommend you check out Extraordinary Attorney Woo. It only has one season at the moment, and it's a very sweet, but also very funny show that would be a good temporary replacement for Ted Lasso during the strike. It was a huge hit when it came out last year, so there should be a decent audience for it.
Yes! Blind Wave is one of my fave reaction channels, but I hate that they don’t seem to cover a diverse slate of material. And I get it. Their viewership seems to be heavily white male and mirrors the panel, but they are missing out on so much great international content that other channels have embraced with a lot of views and new subscribers in the process. I would love it if they kept a slot for shows like this, Alice in Borderland, Uncanny Counter, etc.
