I think this is from Eric. He said that unfortunately files were lost and is trying to do deep recovery but may not happen. Over 1700 videos bound to lose one or two which is frustrating. They have recorded chapter 8 reaction and is editing it. Hopes he can find 7 but doesn't seem likely

JUST SHUT IT PEOPLE! Why is it that the minority of people here are the ones that don't care about a late video? I pay five bucks a month to support Blind Wave, not for early reactions! Getting to see it early is just a bonus!

If people took two seconds to check discord they would realize that an explanation was given why the video wasn't uploaded last night and most likely why not today
I understand people want their early access video on time. But come on you don't got to be so upset that it hasn't been uploaded. It's late I get it they'll upload it as soon as they can. Just be patient they're doing the best they can to keep giving us content.

I wouldn't say babies. It's normal to have that reaction. When you pay someone for a service you expect them to deliver on what they say. That's how business works. Of course things happen time to time that can delay that service and it is concerning to an extent.

Patrons support you financially, the expectation is for you guys to deliver. Delays are of course fine and expected, but people are paying you for early access.... Own up to it.
To be fair, this is the first time this happened. I'm ok, as long as it doesn't happen again.

This update did say early tomorrow. It is now way past morning lol. I don't mind waiting, I just like when things are punctual.
blind wave has a problem with communication. i would say its their only problem but its a big one. they go quiet a lot. and they barely interact with their fans much
we atleast deserve another update when the timeframe given for the last update is long past. silence is no way to handle this
It is not mature to whine when things don't go your way. They're fulltime parents, workers, AND content-creators, and have never not followed through before. So be patient; it will come. :)
Have you guys considered hiring a part-time editor? You're already at 12k and have a lot of polls/shows going. It might help free you guys up.

Relax, guys. Still seeing it days before it comes onto youtube. Real life gets in the way sometimes.
@Tory sadly, some don't understand. There have infamously been some commenting on the Patreon page that have been seriously angry about EA videos being posted less than a day later than usual. Arguments here and on Discord have taken place about how patrons are somehow "entitled" to EA that should come out "right when the previous episode hits Youtube" despite still technically getting the video early, sometimes even same day but a few hours late. I'm of course not saying everyone is like that, but there are a bunch of people who get irrationally angry around here, thus the need for comments like Tim's to placate those unreasonable people.
This is a little annoying, I don't mind waiting I just would like to watch it before work.
