Time for Red Dragon
You guys definitely have to react to Hannibal (tv series) now! Its so good!
Man I wish Eric and Aaron could shut up during some scenes. They were incredibly funny though, so I'm torn. But hell even Rick looked annoyed at some points. One of the biggest parts of the movie is the incredibly tense scenes and they were just clownin around. Idk maybe I'm just being a dick.
I feel you a little, but I also understand the toughness of a reaction for this movie. This is probably the most serious movie they've done aside from 1917 and Joker, but it's not as visually complex as 1917 or as sad/serious as Joker. They can't just sit there and quietly watch the whole time, they have to say something and I guess they felt humor was the main thing they could contribute. I thought it was a bit much at times, but there were also some pretty funny parts. I think one thing that stinks more is that even though they hadn't seen the movie, they were extremely familiar with all the famous scenes due to pop culture. Overall I still think it was a good reaction.
I love this movie. Seen it a few times.
By the way - When Clarice is escorted out of the prison cell by Dr Chilton, one of the guards is played by horror master George A Romero (Creator of Night of the living dead, Dawn and Day of the dead, inventor of the modern zombie) and I CANNOT FIND A SINGLE REFERENCE TO WHY HE WAS THERE!
God damn now I really want these beautiful men (and Aaron) to react to the TV series :')
This film still gives me chills, but it’s such an excellent piece of film making. I also agree that you definitely need to watch Hannibal the series. Bryan Fuller created something very special with that show and your reactions to it would be fantastic to see.
I could be wrong but when they talking about Sean Connery I think he was actually up for the role of Gandalf not Saruman and he turned it down cus he thought it was dumb and the movie would be bad and THANK GOD he did cus otherwise we would have been robbed of ian Mckellen who cant be replaced ever now honestly the whole LOTR cast was cast so perfectly if they ever remake them no one will ever come close to matching their performances
Makes you appreciate the Dwight Schrute face skinning scene that much more. "Turns out, its pretty realistic!"
1) Red Dragon is a remake of Manhunter, which takes place before Silence of the Lambs. 2) Another thing that made The Silence of the Lambs' Oscar coup that much more impressive was the fact that it was released in February the prior year, way before "Oscar season," not to mention it's the only horror film to ever win. It won solely on the basis that it was a really good movie that everyone liked.
I wonder if any of them have seen Monk. It blew my mind when I realized Captain Stottlemeyer played Buffalo Bill.
I know for sure rick has seen it, hes mentioned it several times... I think he empathizes with him since rick also is a germophobe
Cum Throw!!!! 😂😂😂
It’s super effective! 🤣
"We watch shit for a living!" -Eric Haha
Now I REALLY want them to react to Hannibal the tv series! I'm surprised they haven't that is a really good show.
I don't know if they would, their shows are picked from polls and Hannibal's always been more of a cult/niche show.
Eric and Aaron hadn't seen this? Awesome. Now if only this could push them into the amazing Hannibal TV series. :)
🙏
Haha great Surf Ninjas mention! Haven’t seen this movie in forever and it’s the first R rated film I can remember seeing when I was maybe 4 years old lol
