Their discussion about artstyle and key art makes me want them to watch Shirobako, an anime about making anime
As someone who is in the animation industry, I loved that one. Obviously they have to format it to be entertaining, but they actually NAIL a bunch of stuff.

Only time I won't watch full length.
I always love how cleanly that tail comes off, no blood or anything.
I wonder if they're doing the filler episode. Also, the fan service is really a result of the time period that this was made. You'll notice it in other anime that released around the same time as well such as Code Geass. Having a bit of fan service was just an easy way to get people to watch your show on a weekly basis.
O_o *stares* I must honestly question if you have actually watched anime in the past 13 years if you think "fanservice" is something that happened in the early 2000s. There are still tons of anime with fanservice coming out (popular ones too). And it's not like fanservice started in that "time period" (apparently 2007 is really long ago). I.e. check out Cutey Honey from 1973.
