something is telling me they are too clever for this anime lmao. but i'm sure they will love it
What makes it great is that it's not trying to be sneaky and clever. It's super tightly written. Theoretically, everything you need to figure out everything that happens is there for you to figure out with the kids. That's what makes it so fun! They'll all be surprised a couple of times at some things. And they'll all correctly call some things. But that's exactly why it's so awesome, IMO.
"American Tag" really? You guys know that america is way bigger then just where you grew up. I grew up playing tag they way you describe, and I grew up playing tag he way they played in the show. It's not "American" vs "Japanese." You did the same thing in HxH with the doge-ball, equating "your" way of playing, as american, and acting like the way they played in the anime is some strange "Japanese" version. When in reality, there are just different rules that different people play with. Again, in america, I've seen it played they way you describe, and the way they played it in the anime.
I think you can cut them a little slack. There is usually an overall general way of playing a game that is the most popular throughout the culture. One where, if I just announce "Let's play "blank"!" Your mind would instantly go to. Just like you can introduce different rules to say, football if you want, but there is still an overall way to play the game. And there is overall general ways of playing a game that would seem more "American" or "Japanese" that other ways. It doesn't mean you're way isn't "American", it's just probably not as popular in that region.
November 8th is election day
i feel bad for the people who watch the episodes week to week with their reactions because the editing kinda spoils stuff. I love the editing of course but I've also watched the season already
It's a slight slow burn at the beginning but then starts picking up a decent amount and then BAM. I can't wait for uncoming seasons too because it gets crazzzzy! It's so easy to get drawn to all the characters, and of course the story is very intriguing. It's one of the only anime (other than AoT) I've read because I had to know what happens next, haha
I clicked SO fast
Can't wait till THAT episode!!
True!!
