Thank you, I too, was not on board with oikawa until season 2 and he became my favourite character in haikyuu! Give her time guys
The dub did a pretty bad job but the hate Oikawa's given by Maggie definitely isn't justified still. He's one of the very best characters, and players, in the entire show! He definitely knows how to set for every individual player while Kageyama DOESN'T. He only knows how to set to Hinata while he's lacking with the others, just as Oikawa said. Oikawa can see what kind of tosses they need just by observing, how impressive is that?! I'm sure they would've understood him better if the show had followed him and his team a litte more, like Karasuno. This show definitely wouldn't be as good as it is without Oikawa.
No. I never hated him, he was one of my favourites from the very beginning. So I don't care if I wasn't "supposed to" like him.
Oikawa is one of the best characters out there! He’s just good on what he does with passion but not evil! I hope you’ll like him!
I'm surprised, most reactors love Oikawa when he is first introduced. I didn't really like him till later episodes, but this is the first time I've seen a reactor also not like him.
Oikawa isn't evil, he is just good at what he does.
Oikawa is the best character in this show
