I can imagine the squid wearing a huge clan robe and his fellow clan members don’t have the heart to tell him that there’s no reason he needs to wear that because everyone can still recognize him
One of those episodes that just stays with you. 10/10
great isnt it. love how different it is. so glad HBO did this, no holds barred.
Such good writing and direction! fyi the officer who inspired Will to join the force was actually a real person. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samuel_J._Battle
Can they also actually make an American Hero Story TV show cos id watch the hell out of it. Plus it would add context to this show like the articles at the end of each Watchmen comic issue.
I really hope we get a second season of that show !!!! Btw, I was thinking... after Watchmen and The Witcher, wouldnt it be good if they tried one of those many recent TV series that have just one season so far before they lack too far behind ? I'm thinking about stuff like His Dark Materials, Good Omens, Carnival Row, See... I know they didnt win the poll, but just like the two Ws, they're just one season series so far, so... might be a good time ! :)
Sadly, I think it was just recently confirmed that HBO won't continue with a second season because the showrunner, Damon Lindelof, won't return. He always said he only wanted to do 1 season of Watchmen and HBO is smart enough to just leave it at that. I'm glad this show won't continue because now it can stay as a perfect piece of tv! Also, I would love to see the crew react to Good Omens - it was SO GOOD!
This show is so good
Bass Reeves was a real historical figure who did indeed become a Marshall in Oklahoma; he was also the inspiration behind the Lone Ranger character; which creates an interesting parallel between Bass Reeves' life being 'whitewashed' for the Lone Ranger character and Will Reeves being changed into a white man for the American Hero Story series
Yes this episode was filmed so beautifully. Ugh without a doubt award worthy!
This episode was incredible; and deserves to be showered with praise; but Eric is gonna freak the fuck out next episode
Episode 5 will always be my favourite but this episode is definitely the best objectively
IMO....Best episode of the season..
