There were people super angry that Rorschach's legacy was used as the symbol for the 7th Kavalry and wrote off the show from the start because of that. They're completely missing the concept that symbols and ideas are corrupted all the time and we pretend they mean something they never did (see the confederate flag for instance). But even without that Rorschach is not some untouchable symbol of hope and good so I never understood why anyone got hung up on that.
Yeah, I actually though the show's portrayal of his legacy was more true to the comic even! The movie made him a little more justified than Moore intended I believe. But in any case, legacies can be corrupted.
God damn, the foreshadowing in this show. So glad you guys are watching. Hope the rest of the crew can check it out too.
where is the full length for this
On their website, link in the youtube description
Although the violence is brutal, I’ve never had an issue watching racists being on the receiving end of such violence. Your vigorous head shakes during the raid felt weird imo because of the circumstances.
It's not weird to cringe away from brutal violence, regardless of who it's perpetrated against.
Loved the full length reaction. Stop talking over the narration and yeah don't write 'colored soldiers' as a note.
I'm catching so much stuff the second time through. The foreshadowing is ridiculous.
I know, right? I love media that rewards rewatchs.
Veidt is pronounced Vite like In-Vite (which is the trick I used to remember how to say it.) Hope that helps anyone as it helped me. Excellent reaction and discussion.
Are they not looking at the PeteyPedia files?
Should they perhaps be looking at the relevant Peteypedia stuff that came out for each episode..?
I was wondering the same but since the files usually bring up something "random" that could spoil the next episode and since they don't like to look at promos and the like I don't think they will nor should they.
Honestly still bummed that they chose to put a live show (Demon Slayer) on the poll to replace mob psycho because this is 1 of the 2 shows I pay early access for.
ur weird but ok
Lol at Eric still confusing Tulsa & Tucson
Lol I literally spoke to my iPad screen like “yo cmon Eric it’s Tulsa, Oklahoma not Tucson, Arizona
Is this gonna be every Friday instead of Demon Slayer? and if yes when is Demon Slayer coming out?
Next Demon Slayer reaction will be January 10th
Holy shit, Eric is on point.
so glad Aaron and Eric are doing this, by far the smartest and fun to react. pity they arent joining the others to do Witcher too though. both great shows.
Nixon was president until 1993 and Redford has been since, Tulsa is in OK not Arizona
There is no Super-Hero group called the Watchmen in the comic, so by extension the TV show either . . .
