I hope Samurai Champloo is next
this show hurts my entire soul
Baccano! Short sweet and underrated
Baccano! would be fantastic. It really is a great and fun show with lots packed into 13 episodes.
Please. Ghost in the shell. TV series
I really hope they get to react to Black Lagoon next. It would be perfect follow up from Cowboy Bebop...and I'd argue some of the characters in Black Lagoon are even more developed! BLACK LAGOON Lets do it!!
I'm super excited for a new poll. Don't get me wrong, I love Cowboy Bepop, and its a classic, but it just wasn't the most exciting reaction series for me.
I agree, but I still want them to do Samurai Champloo next even though it’s similar to Bebop, lmao
and you will shed tears of scarlet.. -slash- classic moment
I am sad to see this amazing series go, but I am looking forward to what comes next. I hope they do another "classic" anime series since they do a lot of newer anime series. Something like Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Samurai Champloo, or a Gundam Series, like Shane's favorite Gundam Wing. I think having Shane in the "Rick Role" of being the one who has seen the series before would be really neat! Or anything else with Yoko Kanno's music.
Neongenesis Evangelion >:3c
When you realize at this point they've already seen the movie and have us waiting patiently for 2 weeks.
Y'all really gonna make me wait another week for the finale reaction. T-T
Chronological order is more emotionally impactful
This is the show I signed up for. Man, time seems to be passing faster IMO. I'll be back If more classic anime is watched of course.
Fun fact the last scene of the final episode was the first cowboy bebop I ever saw.....bang.......
Almost at the end, can't wait! Btw, where do you guys get suggestions for what shows go on voting polls? Do you just read comments for suggestions?
i think i remember them doing a massive poll ages ago with like every recommendation, and i think they still use that to help decide the smaller size poll options. could totally be wrong though.
Those are all original recordings.
cowboy bebop is a masterpiece at what it does, my problem with it is that the strong story point with spike vicious and Julia is like a total of 4 episode content in a 26 episode show. the rest is just short stories and well executed things around the bigger picture but the main plot is really torn up and dont hit me that hard.
I think the issue is that Vicious is just not that interesting a character. We had tons of flashbacks with the guy and he's always just this stoic edgelord who magically survives because plot. Julia is kind of the same way, I've never seen her as anything other than just 'the woman'. Maybe they would have been better characters if they had been given episodes to flesh out their stories, but many one-off characters left more of an impact on me and they only had a single episode to explore their stories.
I've never wanted a double drop more!! But we'll have to wait a week more. Really looking forward to their reaction to the end though! This has been a fun rewatch for me and the discussions have been so enjoyable too.
