Eric wanting to see the next episode was so relatable.
I had forgotten what a good stretch of episodes this was.
That ending scared the crap out of me first time i watched it. Would've probably stopped watching had they killed off Devon.
Honestly, I didn't really think of it as Chuck talking down to Awesome. The guy was legitimately being way too gung ho about the whole spy thing when it could have put both him and Ellie in danger just like in that Christmas episode when he just wanted to rush the guy holding them hostage. Besides, he's always been the awesome guy to Chuck, so I think it's appropriate that Chuck finally gets to flex some of his experience and be the awesome one for once.
Furthermore he has to give Awesome the hard truths. Awesome can't think that him being a spy is a good idea. Chuck's doing it for both Ellie and Awesome. Secondly, Chuck is used to being talked down to multiple times a week by Casey/Beckman and sometimes even Sarah. It must be nice for him to finally be in a position where he is the "superior".
