This was a dream come true honestly
Do dr stone
ok i see how it is. I can't postpone wathcing this any longer huh?!
suprisingly this dub isn't that bad. i was truly prepared for the worst when i saw the promotional video for the dub but it seems this may be one of the few that aren't half bad! knowing you guys will love this story i can't wait for you to get more into it
Wait till u hear Inosuke's voice... thats the only 1 i have a major problem with that i heard on the trailer
ive been fine with yall watching the dubs of anime, but for this i really do recommend the original subs
The dub is good so far though
Just so you guys know you can watch the previews, they're just funny clips that don't spoil next episode and some have interesting lore about that particular episode, the only thing it "spoils" is the next episode's title
I’m not the biggest anime person. I usually watch whatever people vote blindwave to watch. Love my hero and hunter x hunter, couldn’t get into any of the rest. Watched the first episode in sub, because I can’t find the dub to watch, and I was blown away with literally the first scene, where he is about to pass out going through the snow. I mean amazing artwork. The story seems amazing as well. Can’t wait to watch the rest.
I don't hear many complaints about the amount of 3D that was used in this series. In your case the first episode. Its good that Japan is starting to figure out how to use it to their benefit without breaking anything. Its a very handy tool which will only speed up production.
Yes Rick, it's Lelouche.
episode 19 hype? anyone? just me? ok :(
Im not hyped for a reaction we wont see until february. There are great episodes before 19 also though so looking forward to that.
Small information without spoiler: With Demon Slayer, we can think that we are in the context of feudal Japan with samurai or ninja while the story takes place in fact at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century.
I love demon slayer but the dub is whack as hell. Can you guys change it and do the sub version instead it just way better
You havent been around long have you?
FUCK YES!!!
THEY'RE REACTING TO DEMON SLAYER!!!!!!!!!!
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssss!!!
Man this dub is pretty good! I always get teary on first episode especially when giyu about to show up. Like how Nezuko could’ve potentially died, and how it would’ve change the story, especially when I finish the anime and on current manga. Officially one of my favorite anime.
The animation is made by the same studio who did Fate Zero and Fate Unlimited Blade Works. These are great shows (starting with Fate Zero) and the animation is also amazing.
gonna be a long 18 weeks if you guys know what i mean
Weren't you guys doing steins gate?
My excitement is UN-CONTAINABLE (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧
15 minute reaction video??? AND the OPENING? hell yea!
Yeah I've seen all of Demon Slayer. It's good but nowhere near the greatest anime of all time... Boku no Piko
haha ecks dee
"Tanjiro is a legend in his time" Oh guys, this is just absolutely correct.
Oh well ... I’ll just go watch code geass and AOT reactions again..... this is such a snooze fest but if anyone gonna make me watch it it blindwave lol
I know it hurts not having ur fan service so u can just move along as u said.
I haven't had a chance to watch this show yet. From the first episode, I am very intrigued to see more. I don't know if I will go ahead and do a binge-watch or watch along with the crew. Which way is best; binge-watch or week-to-week with the Crew?
I would binge it to experience the sub and then watch the dub together with BW
I am confused on why people need to access the dubbed version of Demon Slayer? Just put on the normal version on Crunchyroll, the audio is already available on the full length reaction. If you sync it up correctly there shouldn't be any issues.
not really, if you match the volumes of both it sounds the same as if it was just one file
lol for once I can say the Dub literally screwed us this time. Well with no full length dub, highlights it is!
Why not use just the normal episode from CR? The audio is on the BW full length reaction.
does anyone know where we can legally stream the dub? I can't find it and I tried Funimation, Crunchyroll, Hulu, and Netflix. I must have missed it. EDIT: Sorry, read other comments. Adult Swim, got it. Thanks!!
You can watch it on https://www.adultswim.com/videos/demon-slayer/cruelty but you need a cable/satellite provider.
LiSa crushes the opening song. She is definitely worth a spotify listen if you havent listened to her non anime opening tracks.
Super excited to see you guys start this series
Where do I watch a stream of the dub :( lol i'm just watching the sub so I'm hearing overlap of dub and sub
Okay, First show I'm going to be watching completely blind with them. This should be fun.
Hope you enjoy!
OMG yeeees. Finally is it here. I'm so hyped for that reaction. They are so gonna love that show. And even though I'm a sub watcher, that dub was pretty good. The next 25 weeks are gonna be epic
This dub was good, what are people on about? I feel some people just automatically hate any dub if they watched the sub first
I have no problem with dubs in general, but I think some of Tanjiro's lines were delivered very strangely in this episode, especially in the emotional parts.
Where did they even get the dub? Is it just not available in Canada because I cant find it on any site so cant even follow on full legnth.
Adult swim is the only legal way to watch the dub
where did you guys get the dub at? It's not up yet on Funimation.
I asked the same thing. Only available option is Adult Swim which requires a cable package to view it. Its also not available in most countries outside of the US.
was disappointed Promised Neverland didnt win, but thought i might as well check this out and keep up week to week with you guys. I ended up finishing the series last week and am super excited to see what you think of it
Sounds like a solid dub. There is some really good voice acting in the japanese version but i think this is fine. The music is the high point of the sound design in this show in my opinion
500% HYPE
I'm alright with this dub...until we get to best boy, from what I've heard in the promos I ain't gonna like it.
Yusss. I frickn love this story bruh. Tis still a great year for anime reactions.
Was hype. Then, I remembered the dub only rule. I dont often complain about dubs, but this was egregious...
Giyu being played by Lelouch is a blessing imo.
So does anyone know where to find the English Dub version to sync up with the full length? If possible, I would like to use an official source, but I can't even find a non-official streaming site that has it. The only place I could find that has it is the Adult Swim website, but that requires a cable subscription, which I got rid of years ago.
I usually watch it in sub with the sound muted. Their full length reactions the sound is loud enough to hear the dialogue.
I literally screamed in the middle of my living room when I got the notification
That ending had so many spoilers damn
It's the opening but I agree I still wish they wouldnt have watched it but whatever it wont change their reaction
Oh my god.
Yeeeeaaaa this Dub is not looking good. I'll give it time but so far I'm disappointed.
I'm not sure if it was the translations, but watching it here in English the first episode is not great. Like if I had to judge the story writing based off of this video alone it would be a 5 or 6 out of 10.
Aaron doesn't want to watch ?
He doesn't have time sadly
It's a shame that Aaron isn't here because I always look forward to his insight, but it's still cool that the rest are reacting to it. 👍
HYPE AS FUCKKK LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOO
Holy shit is this really happening??
I love how they recognized Johhny Yong Bosch's voice.
Every one it's time dont panic
Ugh, still no Stiens; Gate
I literally screamed at work!!! yessssss, I forgot why I was looking forward to Friday!
HOLY SHIT LETS GOOOOOO
Let’s do this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And here...we....go.....
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees
yes lets do this! time to re watch this again
