Cool little tidbit: Spike's fighting style is based on Jeet Kune Do, which was Bruce Lee's thing. And I'm glad this show won the poll, it's a classic. Hope you guys like it!

In my opinion this anime is overrated, it doesn't really do anything outstanding compared to several more recent anime. The guys should enjoy it though
It's loved for what it did when it came out. Obviously now, if you take it as is, it's not as special. It still has beautiful animation and an outstanding soundtrack and a mastery of ambiance. However, in my opinion, Samurai Champloo is a better version of this show.
Eric, I'll slap bet you that you wont be disappointed at the end of the show.
This show is amazing. They should consider Black Lagoon which is another bountry hunter anime after this series.
To think, I saw this anime 20 years ago. While I don't exactly remember who recommended me this series, I do remember downloading this from DirectConnect and it took whole WEEKS just to find the right server with all the episodes. Aaah, the good but crappy old days. :')

Someone should probably tell them that notes arent as necessary for this anime. Some parts are but because of it being episodic most things wont be recurring

The best part to this is...when this ends the dub of My Hero will be out. People were trying to pick animes that have over 25 episodes we need them to be ontime with My Hero. We can't delay it
I think they would have done MHA when its dub starts regardless. Similar to how they started attack on titan season 3 part 2 when the dub started even though mob had taken its original Friday slot.

Not my favorite, but it's still a good show. I don't think I'll bother rewatching along though, but I hope the guys enjoy it.

Welp, at least this show isnt too long, for those wanting a different show. I also prefer haikyuu or gurren lagan but i guess ill try to watch bebop again. Always got bored halfway through though so we will see. Edit: anyone know how to see which show is winning in polls before the reaction comes out?
No. It used to be that way but people would change their vote depending on which show was winning, which was unfair, so they changed the voting system to prevent that.
Hoping Parasyte will win the next poll. I just need Shane's reaction to that show, especially since he hates the titans lol

i cant watch this show and i dont know why. I just never get into it i usually stop around the 3rd or 4th episode.

First, anime doesnt even make up half of their reactions and second, why cut down on anime if that is something that the majority of their patrons watch?
I tried to watch Cowboy Bepop twice and couldn't finish the second episode each time.. dunno why but I'll gladly give it another shot

TSDS is a great show and would love to watch them react to it, if only for the fan service alone, though thats also why it wasn't my top pick.
Cowboy Bebop is a great anime for BW to watch y'all. One of the most legendary dub VAs for the MC and a banger soundtrack. It's also basically Firefly the Anime, so there's that. They'll react to our favorites eventually :).

Gravity Falls is definitely the show that should win. I get people go crazy for anime but Gravity Falls is incredible and not just more of the same.

Hey, I felt that way about Cowboy Bebop for awhile now. “How can this older anime compete with all the hot anime?” But it did. If Gurren Lagann was on a poll, it means it was high on the master poll and if it continues to show up, it means it is doing well, just not winning *yet*.

Honestly pretty meh about this winning. It's just not a great reaction series imo and it's pretty overrated. But we will see I'll still be watching of course
I couldnt disagree with you more. It might not be a great reaction show for you, but with the love these guys have for Firefly and fight choreography, this was actually the best option of the choices. This show is also far from overrated. Its deserving of every bit of praise that its gotten.
