Sigh this feels like 2 episode a week anime lol.
I felt that way with Avatar, but was then sad at how quickly it ended. I much rather enjoy the journey then have them rush through it. They also have more time to think about each episode, so they are less likely to miss stuff down the line

Well they don't explain anything the first arc so it's not that exciting. Especially in the dub for some reason. It's cool tho, after the summer it'll get better.

They probally just assume hes the typical anime character that is in tune with wildlife it's a fair assumption I thought gon was pretty basic at first
